    2026 Sea Gate Association Beach Application - RESIDENTS ONLY

    Thank you for joining us this Beach Season and becoming a Season Beach Access Membership Holder.
    Beach hours will be 9am to 8pm.

    2026 Season: Resident Beach Access Pricing

    Homeowner (ages 18+): First 2 memberships, $100 per person. Each additional membership, $80.
    *Plus, a FREE 5-day guest multi-pass booklet - Limit of 1 per address
    Homeowner Children (ages 5-17): $60/ea.

    (Additional Membership Discount Rates applied only when purchasing all memberships at one time and will only appear on actual invoice)

    Tenant (ages 18+): $175/ea.
    Tenant Children (ages 5-17): $120/ea.

    PLEASE NOTE:
    - As in years past, all residents MUST first have an updated 2026 Pedestrian/Resident ID to apply and obtain a Beach Access Membership.
    - Beach Access will be added to your 2026 Pedestrian ID 'key' remotely once the invoice has been processed and payments posted.
    - All children under 5 years of age (at the time of purchase) will be 'Free of Charge'.
    - EVERYONE will need to present a Pedestrian ID with Beach Access Pass at the Beach 42 St entrance, regardless of age, to access to the beach.
    - All individuals that do not obtain the 2026 Beach Access Pass and are 5 years of age and over will be charged a daily fee.

    Must be a valid SGA Resident & be in good standing. Owners and tenants/non-owners of properties that are not up to date with Dues & Charges cannot purchase Beach Access Passes. Any violation of the Rules & Regulations will result in the deactivation of your Beach Pass without refund or credit.

    Resident ID Number is REQUIRED - Please enter the first series of numbers on the back of your Sea Gate Pedestrian ID Card.
    If you do not have an updated 2026 Pedestrian/Resident ID Key, you will need to first go to the Sea Gate Main Office to obtain one. $10 fee if lost ID.
    *Applications without Resident ID Numbers for ALL parties will NOT be processed.
    If you did not enter the ID Number for all parties, you will need to resubmit.

    Processing takes up to 72 hours. Please plan ahead.

  • *Please note: Homeowner Pricing will be extended to Sea Gate Association Members in good standing with SGA, their spouses, and children only. All other family members wishing to obtain a Season Beach Access Pass may due so as a tenant and will require written permission from the Association Member.

    Any individual listed on this application must be a registered resident of the Sea Gate Association. If you are unsure of your status/membership, please contact the office at info@sgany.org.

    NO ONE MAY ENTER THE BEACH FROM ANY POINT OTHER THAN THE BEACH 42ND STREET ENTRANCE. *Anyone in violation will be removed from the beach, fined, and have their beach access revoked for the season.

    Regarding homeowner chair storage at Beach 4 ($25 per chair), please note that we have a limited capacity of 50 spots, available on a first-paid basis—no exceptions. Only tagged chairs with confirmed storage payment may be placed in the designated shed. Chairs must be brought to the SGA Office for tagging prior to storage. Homeowners are solely responsible for any chairs that are lost, stolen, or damaged.

    Old Multi-Pass Cards are no longer valid. NEW Multi-Pass Booklets for Guests will be available for purchase at the SGA Office - $175 total (10 day passes + 1 FREE). The special FREE 5-day Multi-Pass Booklet for Homeowner when purchasing Beach Access Passes (*limit of 1 per property) can only be picked up at the SGA Office.

    Anyone without a 2026 Beach Access Pass will need to purchase a day pass for beach access.

    Guests MUST be accompanied by a Season Pass holder, or Sea Gate Resident (also attending the beach and purchasing a Daily Pass) to attend the beach.

    As always, please make sure that you and your guest(s) are respectful to our Beach Staff. All beach members ID Cards must be handed to a security guard to be validate & scanned. NO EXCEPTIONS. You are not allowed to scan the ID yourself. They do not make the rules. Anyone not following these rules or not being respectful, will be removed from the beach without any refund and Season Pass Holders may be subject to revocation of Season Pass Holder Status thus prohibited from returning for the Season. No refund will be issued.

    Management reserves the right to make any changes to any portion of this Agreement without any notice or consent.

    Management reserves the right to change any rule(s) without notice and/or modify the hour of beach operations or reduce any service at its sole discretion.

    Release: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Member releases and holds harmless the Association and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from any and all claims for injury, death, loss, or damage arising out of or related to use of the Facilities, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Association. The Association shall not be liable for actions by family members or third party affiliated of those receiving first-aid that in any way interfere with Association staff giving first-aid or care. Members shall be responsible for any property damage or personal injury caused by them, their family, or their guests.

    Indemnification: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Members shall hold the Sea Gate Association, together with its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, predecessors, successors, assigns, insurers, officers, directors, members, managers, shareholders, employees, agents, and representatives harmless for any loss, theft, cost claim, injury, damage, or liability incurred, arising from related to, or concerning this Agreement and any conduct or activity or, at, or about the Beach Club, Facilities, or Beach arising from or related to: (a) Member’s conduct; (b) Conduct of Member’s guests; (c) Conduct of Member’s minor children; or (d) Violation of this Agreement, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Association. The scope of this provision shall include, without limitation, any member(s) or guest(s) refusing emergency or first-aid care, actions by family members or third party affiliated of those receiving first-aid that in any way interfere with Association staff giving first-aid or care, injury or accident occurs to a minor that is not supervised, physical injury or accident that occurs because of the member not disclosing any mental, physical, or other previous and/or pre-existing condition that might lead to physical injury or accident, any property damage or personal injury caused by any Member, their family, or their guests, delays or periods of time that the beach or pool may be closed or ability to use cancelled.

    Loss or Property Damage: The Association is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. This includes, but is not limited to, money, jewelry, clothing, electronic devices, toys, furniture, food, or anything. Members are solely responsible for any personal property or other types of property they bring into Sea Gate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Association is not responsible for theft or damages due to high tides, inclement weather, or for any reason whatsoever.

    Emergency Authorization: Member authorizes the Association to obtain emergency medical assistance if deemed necessary.

    Member Responsibility: Member is responsible for all medical expenses incurred.

    SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION: The Association may suspend or terminate membership for: (a) Nonpayment; (b) Rule violations; (c) Conduct deemed detrimental; (d) Misrepresentation in any application or this Agreement; (e) any other reason set forth in this Agreement or under applicable law.

    Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.

    Venue: Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Kings County.

    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Association’s liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by Member during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

    SEVERABILITY: If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect.

    ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement and supersedes all prior understandings. Amendments must be in writing signed by the Association.

    I AGREE, UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT NO RAIN CHECKS, REFUNDS, OR CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED DUE TO ANY TYPE INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS INCLUDING CLOSURES TO THE BEACH OR OCEAN. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
